Recently, I got a friend who’s from Korea. She is my father's friend's daughter and three years younger than me. She came in U.S.A. two weeks ago and this is first time she visits this country. When she arrived in U.S.A, I picked up her at J.F.K airport. She wondered when she was walking in the airport and then she was just asking me one thing, “how come the airport is this big?” She thinks everything is big in America. And she also said she never see the cup size of “Venti” in Starbucks in Korea. Kk…..
She’s very talkative and outgoing person so she always has a lot of stories and topics. She usually lived in Korea but she lived in Japan last one year for learning Japanese. So she’s speaking Japanese very well and she already made Japanese friends here. Now, she’s learning English and she wants to meet many Americans so she can talk in English more. I’m having great times with her now. We usually go to Barnes & noble and we study together. I think she is very interesting about U.S.A. and she wants to know more about this country. Last weekend, we went to New York City and tour some popular places. At that time, I could feel she really likes NYC and she didn’t want to go back to home, New Jersey. Kk… And she also said she likes city place and she wants to live there. So we will search and go to look her house in NYC this weekend. She’s going to go back to Korea after she finished learning English. I hope that she go back to her country with success.
