I already have plans for my future life before doing this project. But I could make plans from long term to short term and step by step. I need to have a plan for everyday because if I don't have any plan to do then I can not decide anything to do. I will get feel very confuse everyday if I don't have any dream and goals.
I could say the life in just one word, which is "Choice." We have to choose something everyday. I like ice cream very much so I go to Baskin Robbins sometimes. The worker always asks me, "What kind of ice cream do you want?" Then, I just pick one flavor that I really want to have that day. However, I couldn't decide which one I like to have sometimes because most ice creams are very delicious and I can not eat all of them. I need to choose which one is the best that day.
I like to buy jeans so I go to shopping mall when I have money and time. If I don't have enough money so I could buy just one jean then I'm on the way of choice now. I could think if I buy a Seven jean instead of my favorite True R. jean at that time then I could regret when I go back to home. So we have to think about our lives seriously and have to make plans for get more enjoy and happiness lives. This reading class gave me a time to think about myself and think about our future life. Three different kinds of books were very impressed to me and these affect to improve my reading comprehension skills. I could learn English very comfortable in this class. From final project, I could make plan for my life step by step and I also could figure out my future life in this class. I was very exciting when I know what I like, who I am, how I will do. I like this sentence. “Just think your dream, just feel it, and just do it.” I always remind this sentence and I will do my best everyday until achieve my goal.

I don’t interesting the issues about Anna Nicole Smith. She was a one of the top model, married old guy and her son died few months ago.... I don’t know about her that much but I can see her life style. Personally, I don’t like it. -0- But I feel bad that she died in young age and I think only she knows the reason for her death.

First, I can not believe a person shoot a person 31times. People can die with only one or two shots. But how come officers doing like this? I don’t think this is a good way to kill people and also residents afraid of these officers. They just killed an innocent guy. If I was a judge, the killers have to have very severe punishments and they have take officer lessons from the beginning again.

I think drugs/alcohol/partying is not a good way of coping with stress in celebrity’s lives even normal people lives. All people have their own stresses but drugs and alcohol are very bad for human’s health. Sometimes, people want to do these things but if they can not control themselves then these will must very dangerous to them. Sometimes, I like to enjoy with alcohol and partying with friends but I just want to enjoy, not for stress. I think these kinds of things make people getting more depress and stress when people be poisoned. And we can see a lot of celebrities spoil with shopping, drugs, partying, especially Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. I think it also affect to Britney Spears’ divorce. However, I do not understand that she shaved her head. I think she has dissatisfaction with society, the world. I think she is crazy… -0-

Actually, I really don't like scary movies. ^^;; Because if I watch some scary things then I feel scare continually whole week. I also dream of it and I feel scare again... So I really don't like scary movies, ghost houses, scary stories and books, scary web sites. However, I like to take a ride in roller coasters, Vikings, such as scary riders. I just cry after I took these riders but I enjoy that feeling, it is not scary. kk... I think some people just enjoy their feeling so they just go watch scary movies or take scary riders even though they know they are going to be scared.

I was a fan of one of Korean singer when I was in 6th grade in Korea. This group had two singers and they were very popular at that period. So I followed their concerts sometimes and I could see a lot of fan clubs and fans. But I also could see some fans fall down the ground and people just step on their bodies. Many people got hurts and injuries but it also hurts celebrities’ minds. After concert, some frenzy fans followed celebrities and took pictures at their private place. I know if people like celebrities then they want to take their pictures, as paparazzi, and they want to see their private life. But fans need to think they should interrupt their private life and public life.

In my high school, I could see some guys like to make troubles and violence with other weak people. Especially, Korean guys wrote names of lower grade students who seem not good looking to them. They make a name list, like a “hit list” and they call them to their secret place after school. Lower grade students are very afraid of these guys so they know that they have to go there… These bad guys just hit them and tell them their strange reasons for hit. This happening was really big issue of my high school. Of course these bad guys got suspended and some other guys transferred to other school. This is very general happening in Korea but not in America so many teachers got shocked. And I saw a Japanese movie which called “Death Note.” Japan has a lot of scary and cruel movies but this movie is not that scary. It is more like ratiocination. This movie is about people who hate a person and write down whose name on the Death Note then that person will die within 24hours. This is kind of hit list but it is more terrible because it is death list. -0- We need to take these kinds of lists seriously. This is very dangerous to kids and they shouldn’t think like these bad things such as “Hit lists” or “Kill lists.” Parents or teachers need to teach about forgiveness and compromise to their kids while they grow up.

I think U.S.A is not ready for a black or women president yet. I think most people think like this up to now. However, I hope people vote a president who is an honest and intelligent person no matter who is a black or women. We couldn’t see that many campaign’s of candidates until now so we have to wait, watch them, and meditate on voting. In my opinion, if Obama and Hilary Clinton show more special plans for political affairs then maybe it is possible to make them a president. But we don’t know who’s going to be a president now. ^^

I just saw this show “American Idol” twice because of my sisters. My sisters really like to see this kind of channel so I just see that with them when I take a rest. And I wondered because I saw exactly same kind of this show in Korea. I can remember that someone singing very terribly bad. But he just got the notice and he didn’t fail until last exam. I don’t know why they didn’t drop this guy. I think it is for fun for their show. Isn’t director already creating some acts with these terrible guys to make show funnier?
Some singers success with singer life by this show but I still don’t understand their voting system. ^^;

I read some fairy tale stories in Korea. The title of that story was “Seventh dwarf loved Snow White.” Isn’t this funny? kk… And the story starts exactly same as original tale, however, story changes when Snow White meets dwarfs. And seventh dwarf becomes love Snow White and they sleep together. I could see the story changes to totally different from the original and also not that innocent. I think that it is taking away the innocence of the childhood tale. I don’t know why people make pure tales to impure stories such as a tale of “Little Red Riding Hood.” I heard that some adults like these kinds of stories for fun but it is not good for children. In my opinion, these kinds of stories have to remove or stop to remake because they can make children’s pure mind to dirty.
Reading for Spring Break~!
I usually read books which are all about the business. I think I am really interesting about my field. ^^; Actually, I really didn’t like to read books before I find what I interested in. Now, I have a lot of books in my bookcase and these almost are about business management. So I choose one book for my spring break reading, which called 'How to Survive among Piranhas '(in Korean Version) by Joachim de Posada. This book is the author’s real life story and who wants to tell us about the success. My major is Business Management so I am very interesting about money, success, people, system, chance…etc… I like this kind of books because I could get self-confidence and conviction of my goal after I read.

Now, it becomes very serious problem in China so they made rules of birth control for reduce population. Inge and I will find out more articles and we will pick one of those, it will be more interesting than others. And we will make questions for that article. And we also ask many questions to you in our presentation.

Winter Virus....
I usually have breakfast but I didn’t eat anything in the morning yesterday. The snow came suddenly from night before that day and it was continue to come until afternoon. I go to work every Wednesday morning and I come back at 1pm. And I also have History class every Wednesday at 8pm. I had an attack of indigestion and it became a stomachache from after my work. I took a medicine for digestion and I used a sharp needle to bring out the blood from my finger. It is Korean traditional therapeutic for digestion. I was home alone and I just slept until 6pm. And then I woke up and tried to move my body, but it was really hard to do. And then I realized that I have a cold. I think I have illness from fatigue… So I also took a pill for cold and then slept again until today morning. Now, I’m getting more better but I still missed my History Midterm Exam... ㅠ.ㅠ.. I need to contact the Professor and I have to make it up.. And I also couldn't go to Reading class today.. -.- It was terrible virus; I don’t want to think about it again. I have to be careful for winter season viruses. I think it caused by that I didn’t have breakfast yesterday. Maybe it could the viruses come easily.

My Sister's Birthday!
I had no class on Thursday so I went to shopping mall for my twin sisters’ birthday. It is in Bergen County, which name is Garden State Plaza. That is my favorite shopping mall, which is really big and a lot of popular shops there. I went there for my sister’s birthday gifts, but I bought mine first again. –ㅁ- kk The mall was not that crowd becuase it was weekday so I could shop step by step and slowly. Finally, I found my sisters’ birthday gifts, which were very pretty jewelries. I need to buy two different things because I have twin sisters. ^^ It is not good because I have to buy two separate gifts but they gave me just one gift on my birthday sometimes. It’s not good… kk They invited me and my friend to their birthday party on last Friday. The party was at Korean night club in NYC. We made reservation for private party room because over 20 people invited. That club’s dance floor is not that big, Korean night club is really smaller than American night club. And I also like American white club and DJs, they are much better than Korean. But we always had fun with many Korean friends. That day’s highlight was alcohol game. Someone bought a big funnel and he took it out. We were scary and think about that what he going to do for us with that? Next happening was he pours all mixed alcohol into that funnel, it runs to the tube, he goes around and give that to someone. And everybody has to drink it all. That was really tough game because some girls lay down their body after they drink it. -0- My sister’s got a lot of birthday gifts that day so I felt jealous little. kk We were dancing, singing, laughing… We had really good time at that party and we came home safe.

Difference Between Men and Women
Korean men are very traditional. For examples, they don’t like women going out without them until midnight or over midnight, but men can do that. Few years ago, the law changed women can not smoke outside to can smoke under the roof. It is very interesting because how come men can smoke anywhere? It is not fair. –0-
Men make money for support their family and men have their responsibility to take care their children. These are the mens’ parts and duties.
And most famous sports players are men and most succeed businessmen are men. Most men have active, wild jobs. But women also got many tough jobs and many professional women sports players appear recently. A lot of things changed in the world these days. How about woman president? kk Former day, womens’ parts were cooking, washing dishes, cleaning clothes, like most house working. And they like emotional things to do, like read a book, listen to music in the living room, watching drama or movies, going to concert or musical…etc… But now men and women have similar jobs and they can do together each others’ parts.

I was working though bad weather today. But Wednesday is half day. And my doctor saw only three patients today because of the weather. After the work, I just came home, I cooked my lunch and I got a phone call from my aunt. It was emergency call. My grandma fell down on the living room and then she could not move anymore. My grandma is 73 years old and she had palsy on her right side before one year. She was very outgoing and talkative person when she was little younger than now. But now she can not speaking well and her motions are very uncomfortable. And she has a lot of friends but now she doesn’t want to meet them. I know that she doesn’t want to show her uncomfortable motions to them, she feels embarrass of it. My grandpa is taking care grandma by himself; however, he does not have enough power. Grandma fell down on the bed when I was going into her home. She couldn’t make smile face when she saw me but I knew that she was trying to make it but it couldn’t show like. I called 911. They just came within 5minutes and brought her to Hackensack Hospital Emergency room. And she took X-ray exam and some other exams. My aunt and I could get her result of X-ray exam and we become know she had a fracture of right hip joint so she needs surgery for fix it. I feel so sad now and I pray for her surgery tomorrow.

Last Friday was D-day...
Last Friday, I had an appointment for dating with a guy, my friend introduced him, and we just went to Korean bar and restaurant. And we talked about each other and we had a good time. I looked at my watch… time goes really fast. At that time, I could see my other friends came in same restaurant and they said “Hi” to me. Actually, I was a bridesmaid in one of my friend’s wedding last year. Her name is Seoyoung and she is one year old younger than me. She got a husband very early…kk Anyway, I saw her, her husband, and other friends there and they wanted me to join with them after my dating. And my dater also has to go home at that time. So it was good timing. ^^ I also want to join my friend’s group because of one guy. He is one of Seoyoung’s husband’s friends, very cute and kind person. And he is six years older than me; however, he doesn’t looks like, he looks very young. We already met three times before, this means I counted…kk He gave me a seat next to him every time and I already knew that…actually, we already knew that we like each other. ^^ So last Friday was D-day. I got a boyfriend and I am so happy now. ^ㅇ^

American Genocide....
I was very tired today… So I couldn't concentrate with our discussions...-_-;; But when I came home and I went to the website, which is about the Rwanda and I finished that video that we didn't finish in the class today... Two different governments (Hutu and Tutsi) made this terrible happening, a lot of Hutus and Tutsis killed them each other, most Hutus died, and many other residents just died from their conflict. So many people died within 100days and some people could survive but they still remember that day... Maybe they can not forget these days. This is really tragic and unbelievable happening. I hope that no more genocide in any country. No more tragic stories… And I also find a movie, Hotel Rwanda. I heard that this movie is a masterpiece... So I'm going to watch this when I have a time. ^^

Unbelievable~! .....
http://www.ushmm.org/museum/exhibit/online/phistories/
This link is all about the Holocaust and people’s real stories. Among them I picked Hiding section, I read it and I felt sad. A lot of Jewish children had to hide somewhere because Germans took them for work or they just kill them.
In this article, a woman who never go outside from the shack over two years when she was six years old. She just lived in the shack with her mom, she didn’t have anything to play and she didn’t have anything to eat sometimes. At that time, she always got nervous and starved. And a guy who hide behind some clothes in a bathroom closet. It was very dark probably and he also felt scary.
And other guy who need to hide his nephew in the suitcase when German was coming to their house. And he said that “You may not cry, you may not speak, and you may not say anything or shout because if you do….. Germans will take you and you will die.” At that time, his nephew was only two and half years old.
These people were so young for feel that feelings. These happenings are very sorrowful…sad….

About the Genocide
So many people just died from genocide and most countries still have this problem. Nobody can control and change people's own theory. I think the problem always made from really, really small things and people just make big things later. When people get shocks from their parents, friends, teachers or some other people, maybe most people get bad minds, anger and rage, or some people could decide to revenge them. They cannot control their emotions and feelings. Hitler and other evil chiefs probably had impulse occurrences before they decided to plan genocide. And they also had very strongly and extremely thoughts and opinions then others. We can see that they make plans and they really did massacre acts to people for the revenge. So the solutions are people try to have positive minds and try to understand each other when they get problems or troubles. Then people will not hurt other people’s minds and feelings. And we can decrease these terrible acts as genocide…I think…

My friend, Jin~
Recently, I got a friend who’s from Korea. She is my father's friend's daughter and three years younger than me. She came in U.S.A. two weeks ago and this is first time she visits this country. When she arrived in U.S.A, I picked up her at J.F.K airport. She wondered when she was walking in the airport and then she was just asking me one thing, “how come the airport is this big?” She thinks everything is big in America. And she also said she never see the cup size of “Venti” in Starbucks in Korea. Kk…..
She’s very talkative and outgoing person so she always has a lot of stories and topics. She usually lived in Korea but she lived in Japan last one year for learning Japanese. So she’s speaking Japanese very well and she already made Japanese friends here. Now, she’s learning English and she wants to meet many Americans so she can talk in English more. I’m having great times with her now. We usually go to Barnes & noble and we study together. I think she is very interesting about U.S.A. and she wants to know more about this country. Last weekend, we went to New York City and tour some popular places. At that time, I could feel she really likes NYC and she didn’t want to go back to home, New Jersey. Kk… And she also said she likes city place and she wants to live there. So we will search and go to look her house in NYC this weekend. She’s going to go back to Korea after she finished learning English. I hope that she go back to her country with success.

"Anger and Mercy"
I read this book day by day and it made me feel fury little by little. In the beginning, I couldn’t understand that how come human did these incredible acts to just alike human. And I could think my grandmother's incredible real stories when our country, Korea, was under the Japanese government. At that time, my grandmother was a young girl and she said she still cannot forget those scary days. Japanese took a lot of women for sell to trader for sexual abuse. She was a one of them and she tried to get out from Japanese officer before they send over them. So she needed to find out the exit and she finally fined it, which was a toilet. At the bathroom break, she used a hole of the toilet for hide her body temporally until they leave. My sisters and I could see her tears when she told us this story. She said she was very scary and afraid of death. And she didn’t believe the God at that time, but she changed her mind, she just gives thanks to God now. I felt not good to Germany after I read this book, however, I changed my feeling to calm and recognized that this is an old period story and people just have this memory. And Jews also did terrible acts to Palestine in other book. I think most countries have their own tragic memories. So I hope that people have more love and mercy for no more tragic stories in the present day. ^^
